Smoky Roast
With the help of a smoker and a boyfriend, this locally sourced brisket was actually fairly simple and inexpensive, and majorly delicious! It’s the perfect meal to serve up on football Saturdays or Sunday’s!
First, I stepped out of my comfort zone and purchased my first brisket from @prairiecreekfarms at the Farmers Market.
Then I thawed her in the fridge overnight and rubbed her down with salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, garlic, and onion.
Then I smoked her on the @traegergrills at 250-degrees until her internal temp was 210.
Then she received her spa treatment of an AliMade Beef Bone Broth bath and foil wrap, and was allowed to sauna in the smoker a few more hours.
I paired her with some mashed sweet potatoes and roasted green beans. So delicious, so flavorful, so filling, so local, so adventurous, yet so chill, and so fun. 🔥 🔥
